Think People!!!

Like I mention earlier, in my previous entry, I suppose to start working in January2010..

My application has approved by HQ and has been transferred to Sabah HR. Unfortunately, Sabah HR put my application KIV with the stupid reason! “We give the priority to the locals. We can only take in others upon request”.

What do they mean by locals? Why locals? We are all Malaysian... We are all locals!

Just what exactly is the meaning of the “1 Malaysia” concept that our Prime Minister has been promoting? The "1 Malaysia" concept is the guideline on how to achieve “Bangsa Malaysia”, which means no more Malay, Chinese, Indian, Sabahan or Sarawakian… WE ARE ALL BANGSA MALAYSIA!

Now I’m just wondering why is so difficult for them to accept West Malaysians get into Sabah’s Market? Firstly, they retain over the entry and residence of West Malaysians with immigration control... So, we have to carry passports all the time. Ok, fine!

Then, they are restricting the movement and work of West Malaysians and have to renew our work permits every five years... Gosh!!! We are treated as foreigners in our own country.

How can Malaysia achieve a full sense of national identity! where all its citizens feel a sense of belonging to the same community... when citizens enjoy different rights one another in different parts of the federation? THINK PEOPLE!

Beach Lover...

I noticed that when I think of vacation, I will think of beach... like no other places to go.. hahaha... I love the feeling when the wind blows into my face.. Listening the splashing in the waves and enjoying the view of sunrise and the sunset… Sometimes, just walking at the beach and seeing a family and the joyful faces of little kids having fun already fills me with happiness... It brings fun and relaxing.

Mataking Island!!! It’s a private beach located to the north of Mabul Island in Sabah. It consists of two islands separated only at high tide by a long sand... what a wonderful place... My dearest hubby and I spent 3 relaxing days and really enjoyed the stay there.. Even though we're not a diver, we still be able to kept ourselves busy with the plenty of activities... such as... Jungle tracking… Kayaking... Beach walking around the island. Yeah, it was tiring but fun… Snorkeling also not bad, experience how it is like swimming with the fishes. It was like being in a giant aquarium without walls...

Hurmm, what else... white sandy beach, a lot of beautiful corals and fishes, comfortable lodge, nice food and excellent services. We had very enjoyable and unforgettable staying there. It was worth paying the extra money. Here i would like to share some pictures of the great moment we had…
